Hi! I'm Darin!
In my heart, I'll always be a Board Artist, but over the years, I’ve headed story departments, developed, wrote and designed several projects at Disney, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, The Jim Henson Company, Cartoon Network, creatively produced Mattel's first original program for Netflix, led animation crews outside of the US, directed some TV shows and even an Annie nominated movie for Paramount. I’ve boarded a billion panels, solved a TRILLION problems all while learning how to keep things positive, stay enthusiastic and make the experience worthwhile for everyone.
Okay, sure, I’m funny and creative. Yes, I know character and story. But the best compliments I think I’ve ever gotten were that I’m 'professional' and 'reliable'. Glad they noticed! Cuz nothing good comes if you're funny but you leave everyone hangin'.
